  2. seems like its closer to a t-line concept than anything else. i was kicking around a similar idea but instead using 6 inch pvc pipe and fit a 6 inch sub in the end and run about 8 feet of the pipe. im pretty sure that if you have the ports firing the same direction as the sub yours will sound much better than it currently does. as it stands you have opposing waves cancelling each other out.

  4. Angle grinder + PVC = very bad idea. Secondly, PVC will resonate and rattle after a while. Inside ducting does not have a flow, air and soundwaves are restricted by plastic joints… this is just build related, design might not work in general.

  7. So many issues with your project. You have a mid driver trying to make low end bass, your port length is how you control the tuning frequency of your box and I’m sure yours is tuned to -20hz 😂 try again use 1 port and a subwoofer not a mid driver

  8. I'm tired of seeing carpenters, completely unrelated to speaker design and construction, building boxes and trying to tell us that what they've made is a state of the art speaker… 90% of all DIY speaker builds on youtube are unacceptable. .. so does this

  9. sir/bossing, meron akong 110v AMPLI, CROSS OVER, MIXER . Salamat s sgot.

  10. k, I'm going to be the one who says this ,…..There is a reason why you don't make speakers like this.
You are not going to achieve a responsive and accurate low frequency output.
This is a huge gimmick, sorry, I like your imagination but it's clearly without knowledge or to troll people.

  11. I feel as if the end of the pipes being so close to the wall and sitting directly beside the port baffle isn’t really getting air in and out of them Efficiently. I feel as if the end was more to the right near the corner and the end had a horn on the end of it facing towards the motor of the subwoofer the air would have an easier time to get out and act as a port. Something about this seems really pointless and gained nothing but a waste of time and money on material. All the air can still pass around the pipes and between etc… you’d want that all seal off too to bottom so air has to travel to the port and out. This made zero difference from the pipe less setup you showed us all in the start

  12. Well done to your effort to make such a beautiful piece of speaker. Watching the way you work hard, I am convinced and believe strongly that you CAN IMPROVE this speaker system to make it even BETTER. Why?
You made this speaker system with pipe ducts, actually has been done in way back late 1970s early 1980s. So how to improve it? The output of your tubing duct you made is in THE BACK(rear). When you turned the box AROUND, the REAR sound produces more LOWER FREQWENCY (GOOD BASS). So if you make another BOX, try to chop the tube in HALF, the OUTPUT of the tube IN FRONT, UNDER the SPEAKER. That means you don't have TO GO TO REAR OF SPEAKER to listen to your beautiful bass sound of the speaker. Have a try! (I know you can do it.. I have done it in the past, I spent my money to make this speaker system. It is CALLED: TRANSMISSION LINE Speaker) Goodluck.
