I was really hoping to see the Upholstery side of this. Those cushions you intend to sit/lay down on are just gonna slide around all over the place unfortunately.

Can you tell us how much this DIY sectional cost you to make? Sectionals are so expensive, I’m wondering if it’s cheaper to make it or buy one
I wish I had all the tools he has. It wouldn’t make sense for me to make this without such a good shop set-up, but I did enjoy watching

All the great wood working in the world is not going to keep it from looking like cushions tossed on a piece of plywood. You should have padded and covered the wood frame.

I didn't receive any "plans" just a 1 page PDF with drawings of the completed project from different angles. Plans are supposed to have build instructors, cut lists, etc. What gives?
yeah, on a SOLID WOOD surface, you'd BETTER have a double layer of thick cushions! i would have done some nice upholstery webbing and some couch cushions on top.
if you ever took apart a REAL couch, you'd see they don't use solid wood under the sitting area. now you know why!
