Could use jack as 8s
Why cut it up just weld a bar on the jack.
Why not just use the jack as it was? Seems like total overkill to me.
The deck of the saw is always the same. Why does it need to be adjustable?

Why did you cut off the top of the jack. Use it as it is, theres no point of removing the top part

Why not use old car jacks to use to raise and lower a trailer mechanically instead of airbags, and factor in coil over shocks for suspension.
Seems an awful lot of fuss for something one could contrive from the general bric-à-brac in ones garage.

How tall is that red piece of C channel? How about you just make a block of wood the same Hight and just set it there. There is no reason to have a roller system on something that don't move. Sheesh!!!

Good video! I did this 30 years ago before youtube, welded a long roller with brackets to an old scissor jack I saved from aToyota Corolla. I welded a large hex nut so I can use a ratchet or a driver.
You could also screw the base to a sawhorse or whatever you have. Take an old steel wheel and put a post on it.

What a useless video. You destroyed a perfectly working jack when you could have modified it with a U shape piece welded to the top of the jack to hold your steel pipe. Basic thinking my friend!!!!…..👎👎👎👎
