I really liked the copper personally. I just think it may be the placement. Try bringing it up higher. You definitely need a backsplash so your wallpaper doesn’t eventually get ruined. jmo! The bathroom turned out beautiful! 😻
You could use clear vinyl "sticker" on the wall itself. It won't be super visible. You should use a matching wood (to the other wood in the room) stain and then clear epoxy over it, so it looks like wood but has the properties of plastic. Should be light weight looking, rather than ¾" plywood
Or you could cut frosted glass and mount it to the wall, so the same wallpaper pallette shows, but it's distinct. You cloud prob find a thrift store glass cutting board
I used elephant skin paint (it’s a literal translation, I don’t know what it’s called in English) in my kitchen to protect the wall. It’s basically a clear waterproof paint you can simply wipe down when wet or dirty. (It’s also often used by families when kids paint on walls.) And it can simply be painted over again. Might be something for your bathroom too. Still liked both options you had tho! You’re so talented!
I liked the backsplash just not the colors for that bathroom. I think it’s a good idea but maybe you could mosaic some broken china plates from the thrift store? would be easier to wipe down than the original stone was but would be easier to find materials that go better with the color scheme and contrast in the right way. Idk, the bathroom looks fantastic I think you crushed it!
Your bathroom design is absolutely gorgeous, you should be proud!
The first backsplash was beautiful but the style just didn't work with the rest of the bathroom.
I think you copper choice was definitely the better of the two, as the colour and material choice definitely complimented the rest of the room. I think the shape of the copper cut-out might have been the issue and also the placement.
Might I suggest for placement that the backsplash overlaps the bottom part of the mirror; and for shape, try two circles, perhaps slightly different in size and position them almost like to picture frames that overlap.
Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will look fabulous and we are here to enjoy the journey with you 🙂

Thank u!❤
Just frame some tile behind it
I actually really liked the stone with the copper edge 😅

the copper looked weird because you have a brushed black faucet. A brushed nickel, brass or chrome faucet would compliment a lot better.
Try cooking.
Clear glass?
I liked it, but maybe not the shape, rectangle instead to go way up the mirror

The wall that has beautiful wallpaper, didn't want a backslash either..lol. it accepts the soap dispenser. 😊❤
I think you need something wood so that matches the cabinet and mirror. Keep up the great work!
I liked both but neither felt a good fit for the wallpaper. Thank you for sharing the process. That's life!
I actually like the cooper idea.. if it had some texture and rounded back towards the wall 😮

It is a beautiful piece, it just wasn't perfect for the elegance vibe the rest of the bathroom had, is all.❤
I love the wallpaper and colour. Can you water-proof the wallpaper?
I love it, looks like art❤
Good trying different things out!
It sucks to have things not turn out how you hoped, but you learn at least ❤
Good choice
Decor graveyard. I love it
What about water splashing onto the wallpaper?
Maybe…maybe you need to combine the ideas. Make a mosaic on the copper, but one that mimics the design of your wallpaper…
I like it better with no backsplash 😊
I feel like part of why its not turning out right is that it maybe needs to come up higher behind the sink. Both of them looked a bit too small to me.

I hated the backsplash but I LOVE the bathroom. It turned out fabulous.
You definitely need a backspash. The wallpaper will be trash in no time. You can coat the wallpaper with something protective.
It looked cute when it was fallen like only a few inches showing instead of so much
What if you marble epoxy something?
I love ur projects so much!!!! You inspire me to start diying
